MeridethAbout Merideth

From corporate employee to entrepreneur, Merideth Mehlberg has a solid track record.
Analytical and compassionate: the best of both worlds

Merideth Mehlberg’s rich blend of business and personal experience informs her approach to coaching. She has more than 15 years in the corporate world, where she developed solid analytical skills in positions with steadily increasing levels of responsibility. She has served as Product Manager, Business Analyst, and Project Manager on software development teams in the supply chain, transportation, and contract employment industries. As a manager and a recruiter, she developed an understanding of the human side of business and has hired employees for all types of key positions.

Merideth is passionate about helping people create deliberate, meaningfullives. She became a coach because she wanted to bring all of herself to her work. In her coaching sessions, Merideth deftly combines insight and compassion with organizational skills to help her clients move toward new direction and meaning in their lives. She encourages them to dream big – and then provides the practical support they need to analyze and break down large changes into manageable steps. Clients also benefit from Merideth’s extensive knowledge of local resources as they explore new directions.

Krista RoseOutside of the business world, Merideth is a survivor of the fertility maze, having undergone extensive testing, medical treatments and alternative therapies in an effort to start a family, culminating in the birth of her daughter, Krista Rose, in June, 2008. Using the critical thinking skills she acquired in corporate life, Merideth helps her fertility clients chart a path through the myriad choices they face. She also shares her extensive knowledge about the Bay Area infertility community with the individuals and couples who seek out her help. She is a member of RESOLVE / Open Path, where she has staffed the HelpLine and has participated in support groups. Merideth also speaks and offers workshops on coping with various aspects of infertility.

Merideth worked with a coach herself while making her own transition from corporate employee to entrepreneur, so she understands firsthand the issues and concerns of her clients. She believes that we hold the answers we seek inside ourselves, and that she simply provides a safe place for clients to reconnect with their intuition, values, and what is most important to them. She named her business Fertile Perspectives because she has learned that considering life’s challenges from new and different perspectives can open up exciting possibilities and build momentum toward a more meaningful life.

Merideth has an undergraduate degree in Social Science from UC Berkeley, and is a Certified Professional Coach with a coaching certificate from JFK University. She has also been trained as a consultant to implement the One Page Business Plan. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association, and BNI.
